Who are we?
We are a diverse group of National Board Certified Teachers (NBCTs) in New York City who are interested in elevating the voice and expertise of accomplished teachers. We want to connect with other thoughtful and engaged educators around issues that impact our students and our colleagues.
Currently, there are 207 NBCTs in New York City. We teach in all boroughs, in traditional public, private, and charter schools. We are in a variety of professional roles including classroom teachers, master teachers, assistant principals, principals, content coaches, and professional development providers.
